The December branch meeting is approaching fast, on an earlier night of Tuesday 18 December, usual time of 6pm. As long as the Mayan prophecy doesn’t wipe us all out we will be holding an evening of food and drink and sitting back to view a festive visual show of our members favourite work over the year.
Now this is the part where you get involved. We want 12 of your favourite images you have shot from 2012. Please get your submissions in as soon as possible, to give the editor time to piece the video together. All are welcome to attend this event.
Send your images to Jason N. Parkinson, maximum size on the long side of 720 pixels, minimum on the short size of 576 pixels. Please also let us know if you are happy for the images to appear on the review video that will posted on the branch website after the Christmas Party hangovers have dispersed.
If you are delivering video, send in a rush of up to one minute of you favourite shots form the year. Dropbox or any other file share sites are fine. Contact Jason N. Parkinson if you are having problems.
The London Photographers’ Branch Annual General Meeting is on the 29th January, a date for your diary but also advanced notice of the chance to join the new committee and help organise the branch in 2013. Absolutely no experience is necessary to join the committee and we welcome photographers and video journalists with energy, both long and short in the tooth, students, temporary and full members.
